Cauliflower-Broccoli Fry
Healthy version of cauliflower-broccoli fry packed with spicy flavours.

- 1/2 cup cauliflower
- 1/2 cup broccoli
- 1/2 tbsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp corainder powder
- 1 tsp chilli powder
- 1/2 tsp garam masala
- 1/2 tsp pepper powder
- 1 tsp corn flour
- 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
- salt
Boil 2 cups water with 1/2 tbsp turmeric powder.
Soak the florets - 1/2 cup cauliflower and 1/2 cup broccoli in hot turmeric water for 5 mins. I took both in the same quantities, you can change the proportion according to your taste.
Drain the florets and put them inside a mixing bowl.
Mix them with the masalas 1tsp (chilli/ corainder ) , 1/2 tsp garam masala, 1/2 tsp pepper powder, 1 tsp corn flour, 1 tsp ginger garlic paste, salt and keep them aside for 15 mins.
Add 1 tsp oil in a non stick pan, once it is hot, add the mix and fry them in medium flame till you get a smoky flavour. Keep them turning around while frying. It will drain out all the water initially and then start shrinking out. Be patient at this step to wait till the water drains to get the packed flavours.
It is done at this stage.
- You can use only cauliflower or only broccoli as well for the dish.
- While frying, please wait patiently till the water drains out of the florets and it starts shrinking out. It will taste flavorful in your every bite if you do this step properly :)
