Carrot Sauce Pasta

A healthy pasta made out of carrot sauce. You can make this sauce during the weekends and give it a quick stir during the busy weekdays on the go ! 😀

Carrot Sauce Pasta

Yummy pasta soaked in juicy carrot sauce

Ingredients

For Carrot Sauce

  • 3 carrots
  • 7 shallots can use 1 medium onion as well
  • 7 garlic cloves
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • salt

For Pasta

  • 1 cup pasta
  • 2 tsp oil
  • 1/4 cup Peas

Instructions
 

For Carrot Sauce

  • Pressure cooked 3 carrots, 7 shallots, 7 garlic cloves along with pepper, oregano, olive oil and salt along with 3/4 cup of water for 2 whistles
  • Grind the mix once cool.

For Pasta

  • Pressure cook 1 cup of pasta with 3 cups water and 1 tsp oil for 2 whistles.
  • In a pan, add 1 tsp oil, and then 1/4 cup peas. And fry them till it gets cooked.
  • Next add pasta and enough carrot sauce and mix them well.
  • Garnish with grated cheese. Done !
